After years of working independently for the betterment of Football in the Slinger area the Slinger Youth Football Organization (SYFO) and Slinger Gridiron have joined forces to create a new organization to further advance the support of Football in Slinger.The new organization is called the “Slinger Gridiron Club, Inc.” The new club supports the efforts of Slinger Football at all grade levels in the Slinger School District.This SYFO web site is currently undergoing updates to become the Slinger Gridiron Club web site. The annual Slinger Gridiron Club Fundraiser Casino Night will be held at Wegner's Cedar Lake Inn on Saturday, March 5th, 2011. You can get advance tickets from board members or pay $8 at the door. Casino game entertainment, raffles, silent auction and more. Mark your calendar!!!

Football equipment will be handed out in the Slinger Middle School Gym on Monday, June 6th, 2011 at the following times: 8th Grade : 5:30 - 6:15 PM 7th Grade : 6:15 - 7:00 PM 6th Grade : 7:00 - 7:45 PM 5th Grade : 7:45 - 8:30 PM If you cannot make this date, equipment will be handed out at the first day of practice. Please arrive 20-30 mins early to the first practice if this is the case.
The first youth practice will be held at the Slinger Middle School on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 from 8:00AM to NOON. Some fun activities are also planned for after the first practice. More information on this day, as well as the complete practice schedule will be distributed at equipment hand out.
Slinger will be hosting a multi-team scrimmage at the Slinger Middle School on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. More information to follow.

Saturday, November 5th, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM Sno-Bird Storage Units 3563 Hillside Road, Slinger off of Hwy 60 & Cnty C, next to Golf Range Sno-Bird Trailer, Inc storage units are off of Hwy 60 & Cnty C, the ones with the blue doors you can see on the east side Hwy 41 and just south of hwy 60 and near the mini-golf/driving range. *Please make sure of the following before turning in your equipment Wipe the helmet clean, please do not use an abrasive cleaner, mild soap and water is fine. Please remove the mouth guard. Wash all practice and game jerseys and pants...please remove the belts. Remove all pads from pants and girdle supplied if you did not purchase a girdle.
